Accessibility

Royal Windsor Horse Show makes every effort to welcome all visitors and is committed to making the event accessible and accommodating to everyone’s needs.

Accessibility at RWHS

Royal Windsor Horse Show takes place within the private grounds of Windsor Great Park, making it a unique green-field event. As the site is primarily grass-covered and spread across a large outdoor area, some routes and viewing locations can be more challenging to navigate than those at permanent venues. We are committed to making the Show as accessible as possible and work hard to provide accessible facilities, viewing areas, parking, and support services to help all visitors enjoy their day. Information on accessible ticketing, accessible parking and other facilities can be found below.

Accessible Tickets

BOOK TICKETS: Royal Windsor Horse Show continues to work with Nimbus Disability to provide an accessible booking process for guests requiring accessible seating, wheelchair bays and carer tickets. If you already hold an Access Card, you’ll simply need to request an updated RWHS Digital Access Code to be input at the booking stage. Customers who are new to the process can complete a quick online application through Nimbus, who will verify access requirements and provide the necessary access credentials.

Links to both the Access Card application and Digital Access Code request forms will be available via the Royal Windsor Horse Show ticketing site when it goes live on Tuesday 13th October at 10am.

General Entry Tickets & Unreserved Castle Arena, West Stand: This year, General Entry tickets include access to the fully unreserved West Stand in the Castle Arena. This stand features a dedicated wheelchair viewing platform and accessible seating rows – please note that these areas, along with all unreserved areas are on a first come, first served basis. Visitors wishing to make use of these facilities should follow the process above to obtain their 2027 RWHS access code before booking. Concessionary pricing is available for guests with access requirements.

Castle Arena, Castle Stand Tickets: For those wishing to reserve seats in the Castle Arena, the Castle Stand offers both reserved accessible seating and dedicated reserved wheelchair platform spaces. These tickets can be booked using your 2027 RWHS access code and provide a reserved viewing location within the arena. Concessionary pricing is also available for guests with access requirements.

Royal Windsor Horse Show Members: The Royal Windsor Horse Show Club and lawn are wheelchair accessible. The other arenas – Copper Horse, Frogmore and Adelaide – all have ringside viewing suitable for wheelchairs as well as some limited unreserved seating.
Carer Tickets: All accessible tickets include free access for a personal assistant, if you are booking a non-wheelchair platform ticket please make sure you have also added your carer ticket to your basket. You will again require an Access Card code to get access to these tickets, so please make sure you have registered via the box office once it opens.

Access Parking

Booking parking: Blue Badge holders can book parking on the ticket booking site. No access code is needed.
Location: Access parking is available to Blue Badge holders only and must be booked in advance through the Box Office at the time of purchasing your Show tickets. The Access Parking area is located on the hard standing of King Edward VII Car Park which is right next to the main Show entrance.
Parking in this area is limited and available to Blue Badge holders only, so friends and family arriving in separate vehicles will not be able to use this car park.
