Create The Next Iconic Royal Windsor Horse Show Scarf

Inspired by our stylish equestrian heritage, Royal Windsor Horse Show’s iconic silk scarves have been released yearly, as one‑off limited editions, and have become real collectors’ pieces. This year we’re bringing a new twist to the tradition, by opening the chance to design our official 2026 scarf to our Royal Windsor audience!

Be inspired by the Show to create your own design, whether by the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle, the beautiful, traditional carriages, the thrilling showjumping, majestic military displays, or by the 120 heritage Showing classes featuring Shetlands to Shires.

The Show is a jewel of country and equestrian elegance set perfectly at home in the private grounds of Windsor Castle. From paintings to patterns, drawings to doodles, and illustrations to inks, this competition is open to all artists who feel inspired by the Show.

One lucky winner will have their design printed on a limited-edition run of Royal Windsor Horse Show scarves, PLUS they will become a Member of the 2026 Show, receiving the full, four-day Membership experience, providing the opportunity to attend the Show and truly be part of this prestigious event. The winner will also receive – of course – one of their beautiful limited-edition scarves to keep.

How to Enter the Competition

1. Create your scarf artwork.

You can design in any style or medium, as long as your artwork is square, and the final design can be printed. Choose from one of our themes below, or come up with your own:

• Heritage in Motion: RWHS Heritage, timelessness and elegance
• Threads of Tradition: Summer Social Event fashion
• Horses at the Show: Traditional breeds and the Royal equines
• Sport at the Show: Include disciplines in a subtle way to showcase the event
• Your personal interpretation of Royal Windsor Horse Show

a. Minimum 3000 x 3000px

b. Resolution: 300 DPI or above

c. Colour Mode: CMYK

d. File Format: PDF

e. Bleed: 3mm f. Safe Zone: 3mm inside the cut line

 

3. Submission:

Submit via email to info@rwhs.co.uk using the subject line: “RWHS Scarf Competition – (Your Name)” and a few sentences on what’s inspired you to create your scarf design

1. Competition opens: 5th February 2026

2. Competition closes: 22nd February 2026 (23:59 GMT)

3. Winner announced the following week

4. Entries submitted outside the dates above will not be accepted

 

Usage Rights – by entering, you confirm that:

1. The design is your original work

2. The winning design grants RWHS the right to use, adapt, reproduce and manufacture the artwork as RWHS silk scarf and in marketing materials (with credit where possible)

3. Nonwinning entries may be shared for competition celebration purposes with full credit
