All you need to know about the 2025 Hubs

Royal Windsor Horse Show is delighted to announce full details of its themed Activity Hubs, set to deliver a unique mix of entertainment, education, and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages. The four vibrant hubs – The LeMieux Children’s Hub, the New Horizon Plastics Sustainability Hub, the Talk Horse Entertainment Hub, and the Garden Hub – sit at the heart of the Show and promise something for everyone.

Event Director, James Shaw, commented: “In addition to the world-class sport that Royal Windsor Horse Show offers, the Hubs are dynamic and interactive destinations, which provide visitors with opportunities to enjoy, learn and be inspired. With these four Hubs, there really is something for everyone.”

The LeMieux Children’s Hub will offer free, all-day pony-themed activities and entertainment to bring the joy of horses to younger visitors aged three years and over. The packed programme in the LeMieux Children’s Hub will feature everything from Hobby Horse Clear Round Jumping to Crafting, the Hobby Horse Popcorn Puissance, and even creative competitions including Toy Pony and Saddle Pad colouring competitions.

For younger visitors, a highlight of the Hub will be the outdoor children’s garden curated by Little Muddy Boots (available at the weekend). This year, the garden features four themed zones designed to spark curiosity and creativity; ‘Plant’, ‘Dig’, ‘Create’ and ‘Grow’ which will include the chance to get messy in the Great British ‘mud off’, complete with pop-up mud kitchens filled with natural materials.

The Sustainability Hub is sponsored by New Horizon Plastics, a specialist in plastics recycling. The Hub will display ways in which a variety of plastic products can be recycled in everyday life, focusing on creating sustainable practices for everyone within the equestrian community. In addition, the White Griffin stand, also situated in the Hubs area, places biodiversity centre stage.

At the centre of the Hubs area lies the new Talk Horse Entertainment Hub, which will host an inspiring and varied live programme that blends educational sessions, influencer meet and greets, rider interviews, musical performances, and expert panels.

Among the highlights is the debut of ‘Full Bloom’, a captivating musical journey through the Royal Gardens of Great Britain. Performed by returning favourites Alan Titchmarsh CBE and composer Debbie Wiseman OBE, the show weaves together stories from Royal history, songs composed by Debbie for Royal occasions and special gardens – all performed by top British musicians including the extraordinary soprano voice of Grace Davidson.

Also taking place in the Talk Horse Entertainment Hub, is the ‘Keeping Hooves in Tip Top Condition’ session, where celebrity farrier Ben Benson will offer practical demonstrations and advice on hoof care for horses. Additionally, the Hub will feature Defender Dressage Masterclass interviews with two of this year’s participants, Olympic bronze medallist Carl Hester and current World No.5 Dressage star Dinja van Liere. Royal Windsor’s official 2025 Show Charity, Spinal Research, will also host a session with British Eventing Olympian Nicola Wilson and British event rider, Presenter, and Commentator Spencer Sturmey – both who sustained serious spinal cord injuries while riding.

Gardens and Nursery Manager for Windsor Castle and Bagshot Park, Adam Scott, and his team will be curating the perfect balance of foliage for everyone to enjoy at the Garden Hub. Also showcasing at the Garden Hub is Architectural Plants, known for their horticultural innovation, production and sustainable design. The Garden Hub’s retail space invites visitors to browse and buy produce from the Royal Gardens, from seasonal plants to elegant tools and gifts.
