Are dogs allowed on the Showground?

We regret that dogs and pets are not allowed on the Showground. However, we do welcome all correctly trained guide and assistance dogs. Whilst we understand that it is not a legal requirement for assistance dog owners to carry identification, we encourage the owners to bring their dogs wearing an item that identifies them as an assistance dog (a harness, coat or collar) and, if possible, the owner should also bring any supporting printed material.
