Performance Hub

At the heart of the show, visitors will find the ‘Performance Hub’, which will host a spectacular programme of live music and performances. Each day, award-winning composer Debbie Wiseman alongside the much-loved gardener, broadcaster, and writer Alan Titchmarsh will star in sessions packed with live music, conversation, and inside stories from their colourful and varied experience in the fields of film, television and Royal events.

On the weekend, they will be joined by the wonderfully funny and entertaining British comedian and actress Su Pollard. Debbie Wiseman has had an incredible career; she was the musical director of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Windsor Castle, as well as the composer of the Gospel Alleluias for the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Alan Titchmarsh is a welcome regular on our TV screens, presenting Love Your Weekend and Love Your Garden. Together, Alan and Debbie have worked on a number of projects including ‘The Glorious Garden’ which spent numerous weeks at No.1 on the UK Classical Album chart. Those visiting the Entertainment Hub will also be treated to an exclusive preview of their latest project ‘Jack Frost – A Winter’s Tale’.

Su Pollard is one of this countries’ National treasures with a career spanning over 45 years. She is most famous for her role in the sitcom Hi-de-Hi and appeared in You Rang, M’Lord and Oh, Doctor Beeching. Su has appeared in more than 35 stage plays and musicals, and over 40 pantomimes. Recently, she was appointed President of The British Musical Hall Society, a position that had until recently been held by Paul O’Grady.

Throughout the day, visitors will be entertained by a group of skilled cirque performers who will delight the audience with their incredible talents, from acrobatics, juggling and contorting to hula-hoop extravaganza and a strong-men act. Take a seat and enjoy the show!Here visitors can enjoy a rolling programme of performances by the Show’s invited guests. World-renowned composer, Debbie Wiseman will be heading the line up and will play some of her celebrated compositions and, in interview, will describe how she creates her work, from the first idea to the debut performance. Carl Hester will be interviewed by Clare Balding to tell his story of his amazing career in international dressage. Young riders Jack Whitaker and Joe Stockdale will describe what it is like to start out on the showjumping circuit. Equestrian Influencer, This Esme will be telling her compelling story. The day’s programme will also include choirs, musicians and dancers to provide a real centre of enjoyment at the Show.
