LeMieux Children’s Hub - Royal Windsor Horse Show
Looking for all day entertainment for your children at Royal Windsor Horse Show? Look no further than the LeMieux Children’s Hub! Offering free and engaging pony themed activities in indoor and outdoor settings, this is the perfect destination for your little ones.
Visitors can expect a packed daily schedule of fun equestrian activities, all free of charge, suitable for children aged 3+ including:
- Hobby Horse Clear Round Jumping
- Crafting
- Hobby Horse Popcorn Puissance
- Toy Pony and Saddle Pad colouring competitions, and Toy Puppy and Pony dress up
For the younger visitors, a part of this Hub will be an outdoor children’s garden by Little Muddy Boots. This year they are focusing on four main elements:
- PLANT at the garden zone: An opportunity for each child to plant a variety of seeds to take home whilst learning about how to grow a biodiverse garden space that supports pollinators, whilst providing food for us.
- DIG at Great British ‘mud off’: Our ‘pop’ up mud kitchen and this year will have even more flowers, grasses, and other natural items for the children to dig, mix and ‘bake’ to their hearts content. This makes for great photo opportunities too.
- CREATE at the Art Area: Bringing to life nature through natural arts and crafts so that each child will leave with a creation to treasure and a deeper understanding of how pollinators are crucial in our food chain.
- GROW at Storytelling and flower area: In a busy event environment, children relish the opportunity to slow down and listen to stories and play. If the weather is suitable, we will also bring out our large bubble wands for some calm floating magic. Calmer children, make for happier parents who know they can then extend their stay and enjoy all the event has to offer.
