Royal Windsor Endurance supported by the Kingdom of Bahrain, statement regarding Desiree De Fignols

It is with great sadness that we announce that the Bahraini horse, Desiree De Fignols (No.3), suffered a catastrophic injury and was euthanised on humane grounds on course by the Senior Treating Vet whilst competing in the CEI* 100km in Windsor Great Park, UK at 13:15 on 16^th May 2025. Desiree De Fignols, a 11 year-old mare, ridden by Hamad Ismaeel Ali Albalooshi, was out on the second loop of the ride when the injury occurred. She received immediate veterinary attention but sadly the injury was deemed to be inoperable.
