Talk Horse - Royal Windsor Horse Show

At the central point of the Hubs, visitors will find the new Talk Horse Entertainment Hub, which will host a wonderfully curated programme of performances and live talks, spanning educational sessions and engaging shows.

This hub is kindly sponsored by Talk Horse, a community for equestrian enthusiasts and home to the weekly Talk Horse podcast starring eventing legend Pippa Funnell MBE and TV personality Tristan Phipps. Please scan for all the latest podcast episodes.

Familiar favourites Alan Titchmarsh CBE and Debbie Wiseman OBE are back and this year providing us with a new act ‘Full Bloom’, which will present a colourful musical journey through The Royal Gardens of Great Britain. Starting in Tudor times and going right through to the present day, this journey will encompass the likes of Sandringham, Balmoral, Osborne House and of course, Windsor Castle. Fascinating stories of monarchs who created gardens and personal anecdotes from more recent times will be interlaced with suitably blooming music composed by Debbie for Royal occasions and special gardens, including world premieres of brand-new songs from Alan and Debbie – all performed by some of this country’s foremost musicians and featuring the extraordinary soprano voice of Grace Davidson.

For the equestrian enthusiasts, make sure not to miss Keeping Hooves in Tip Top Condition with celebrity farrier Ben Benson, who’ll demonstrate all his tips and tricks to maintain healthy hooves ready for competition. The Entertainment Hub will also feature Defender Dressage Masterclass interviews with two of this year’s participants; Carl Hester who claimed bronze at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and Dinja van Liere currently ranked World No.4, offering commentary on their routines, choreography choices, and the balance between technical difficulty and artistic impression within Freestyle Dressage.

Royal Windsor Horse Show’s Official Show Charity for 2025, Spinal Research, will be hosting a live session with Nicola Wilson, British eventing rider and Olympic medallist and Spencer Sturmey, British event rider, Presenter and Commentator – both who suffered serious spinal cord injuries whilst riding. Founded in 1981, Spinal Research has played a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of spinal cord biology, profoundly enhancing the independence, spontaneity, and quality of life for people living with paralysis. Having deep-rooted connections within the equestrian community, Spinal Research will be talking all about their ground-breaking research and how your fundraising can really make a difference.

Over the weekend, visitors can participate in meet and greets with equestrian social media influencer This Esme, hear from the Defender Shetland Pony Grand National jockeys and experience the first ever live Talk Horse podcast hosted by weekly stars Pippa Funnell MBE and Tristan Phipps along with some top-level showjumpers.
