Royal Windsor Horse Show To Be Broadcast Globally

Royal Windsor Horse Show has announced that extensive live and highlights coverage will make this year’s event accessible to audiences around the world, thanks to international broadcast partners Horse & Country and TNT Sports (Eurosport for outside the UK).

Taking place from 15-18 May 2025 in the stunning private grounds of Windsor Castle, the Show promises four days of world-class international sport, national showing classes, breathtaking equestrian displays and equestrian competitions and events that are unique to the Windsor Show. Leading equestrian broadcaster Horse & Country (H&C) will provide full live streaming from both the iconic Castle Arena and – for the first time – the Showing-focussed Frogmore Arena. Coverage will be available through H&C’s subscription service, H&C+, with a Pay-Per-View option also available.

Viewers will be able to watch an extensive line-up of equestrian action, including elite CSI5* international Show Jumping, the Defender Dressage Masterclass, National Show Jumping Classes including the Defender U25 Jumping class, and top-level Showing. Family favourites such as the Defender Shetland Pony Grand National and the DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games will also be streamed, alongside the three spectacular displays taking place at the Show: The Musical Drive of the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, Azerbaijan – Land of Fire, and ‘The Jewel of Arabia’ performed by The Royal Cavalry of Oman.

The unique events that epitomise the Show’s military, royal and very British connections include The Household Cavalry Best Turned Out Trooper, The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery Best Gun Team supported by Defender, The Pol Roger Meet of the British Driving Society, The Return of the Coaching Marathon, The Meet of Hounds sponsored by Equus Design, The Kingdom of Bahrain Services Team Jumping and The Azerbaijan V Guards Polo Club International Polo Match. All of which will be shown on H&C +.

In addition, TNT Sports will air a highlights programme on featuring the Show’s pinnacle class – the Rolex Grand Prix – which takes place on Sunday 18 May. This competition attracts the world’s elite show jumpers to the Show and is a standout fixture in the international Show Jumping calendar. Broadcast timings for the programme will be confirmed closer to the event.

James Shaw, Event Director at Royal Windsor Horse Show, commented: “We are delighted to be working with H&C to bring Royal Windsor Horse Show to a global audience. With such an incredible line-up of sport, displays and unique equestrian events, it’s important that those unable to attend in person can still experience the magic of Windsor. We are grateful to Horse & Country and Eurosport for delivering outstanding coverage to equestrian fans around the world.”
