Royal Windsor Horse Show is delighted to announce that top British Show Jumpers, Joseph Stockdale and Jack Whitaker, have once again been appointed Official Ambassadors of the event. Additionally, renowned equestrian influencer and content creator This Esme will be joining the Show to provide exclusive coverage and behind-the-scenes insights. The prestigious Show, held in the private grounds of Windsor Castle, will take place from 15 – 18 May and promises four days of world-class equestrian sport and entertainment.
At the age of only 26 years old, Joseph Stockdale has established himself among the sport’s elite. Son of the late Tim Stockdale, he has carried forward his father’s legacy with exceptional performances on the world stage, including representing Great Britain at the 2022 FEI World Championships and playing a crucial role in securing team victories for his country. Additionally, this summer Stockdale was part of the squad that travelled to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Jack Whitaker, a rising star in British Show Jumping, has already made a significant mark on the international stage, following in the footsteps of his legendary father and uncle, Michael and John Whitaker. Having represented Great Britain in multiple Nations Cup™ competitions and securing victories at top-level events, Jack continues to be a key figure in the sport.
Speaking about their roles, Whitaker commented: “I am honoured to be an Ambassador for Royal Windsor Horse Show for a third year. It is one of the most iconic events in the equestrian calendar, and to be part of it is incredibly special. The atmosphere at Royal Windsor is always amazing, and I look forward to it every year.”
Stockdale added: “Royal Windsor is such a unique Show, set in an incredible location with fantastic crowds. I am thrilled to be an Ambassador again this year and to help bring fans closer to the action, sharing insights into our preparation for such a prestigious event.”
As Ambassadors, Whitaker and Stockdale will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes content, offering fans an insight into their training and experiences at the Show. They will also take part in interactive sessions, including appearances on the Entertainment Hub sponsored by Talk Horse, allowing spectators to hear first-hand about their journeys in the sport.
Joining them this year, This Esme, one of the equestrian world’s most influential creators, will bring her unique perspective to the Show. With a global audience of equestrian enthusiasts, fans can look forward to her engaging content that will bring them closer to the action than ever before. Her fans will also have the chance to come and meet her and ask questions during her Meet & Greet Sessions on the Entertainment Hub sponsored by Talk Horse on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May.
Event Director, James Shaw, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Jack Whitaker and Joseph Stockdale as Ambassadors for Royal Windsor Horse Show, and we are equally excited to have This Esme with us again this year. Both riders represent the future of British Show Jumping and have already achieved so much in their careers, while This Esme’s reach and influence in the equestrian world will allow us to connect with even more fans. Their passion, talent, and dedication make them perfect representatives for the Show, and we are thrilled to have them on board.”
