What are the show dates?
The dates for the 2011 show are 11th – 15th May 2011
What time do the gates open?
Gates will open at 7.30am on Wednesday 11th, 8.00am on Thursday 12th, 7.15am on Friday 13th, 6.30am on Saturday 14th and 7.45am on Sunday 15th
What are the displays this year?
The display this year is The Musical Drive of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery which will take place only on Sunday 15th May
How do I buy tickets?

Is there anywhere to eat?
Yes there are plenty of places to eat from the variety of food outlets in the food court areas to, a public restaurant with waitress dining or a café area and the Members Restaurant (available to Members Ticket Holders only)
Is there disabled access?
Yes there are viewing platforms on the sides of the arena for those visitors using wheelchairs.  There is also disabled car parking for Blue Badge holders but still a walk to the show ground sometimes on uneven ground and grass areas.  There is also shop mobility scooters available for hire from Shop Mobility (advanced bookings advised – call 01753 622330)
Do I need to book a ticket for my toddler/baby?
Children 0 – 5 years are free
I have not received an email confirming my booking of tickets
This can be for a number of reasons, and doesn’t necessarily mean that your booking didn’t go through. For example many AOL accounts can’t receive the confirmation email. Try the ticket tracker facility to check your booking has gone through.
My ticket has not arrived. What should I do?
Tickets will be dispatched from 1st March and should arrive within 7 – 10 working days of dispatch. Members badges will be sent two weeks before the show. If your tickets have not arrived 7 days prior to the show, please call the Box Office on 0871 230 5568
Is there a booking fee?
Yes there is a booking fee of £2.50 per transaction made
Can I book a group booking online?
The maximum number of tickets you can book online in one go is 10.  For larger group bookings call the dedicated Group Bookings number on 0871 230 5572
Will I be able to stay through the evening to watch the Tattoo?
Your ticket will allow you to stay through to the evening, but will not get you a seat in the seating area of the main arena.  If you wish to watch the Tattoo performance and be seated you will need to purchase a separate ticket

Membership FAQ’s

What period of time does the Membership cover?
Full Membership (entire show and throughout the year)
Weekend Membership (14th and 15th May)
Day Membership (Adult and Young any day)
Family Day Membership (14th or 15th May)
What is the difference between Full and Weekend Membership?
Full Membership is for the entire show and throughout the year as you become a Member of the Royal Windsor Horse Show Club.  This  comes with a range of additional benefits including complimentary pass and ticket discounts for other equestrian events.
Weekend Membership is for Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May only and entitles you to Members' benefits for that weekend only.
How many guests can I bring?
This depends on the type of membership ticket purchase. Full Membership includes a guest pass to every day of the show. Weekend Membership includes a guest pass for the weekend only (Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May only). You do not receive guest passes for Day Membership and Family Membership.
Do I have to bring the same guest each day?
No, there is a daily guest badge and Members are able to bring whomever they choose
Is there parking for the disabled?
Disabled parking is available in King Edward VII car park for Blue Badge Holders wishing to book a shop mobility scooter. For those not wishing to book shop mobility, you will be bought forward to the disabled area of Home Park Public upon display of your blue badge.
How far is it from the car park to the Members Enclosure?
It is about a 5 minute walk at times on slightly uneven ground, however there are buggies which run continuously between the main entrance, Town Gate entrance and the Showground entrance

Do all types of Membership offer access to the Members car park?
Full Members have a VIP / Forward car pass. Weekend membership car parking is in the general car park areas.
Are Members allocated specific seats in the Members Stand?
No, seating in the Members stand is on a first come first served basis. There is plenty available and it is all covered
What is the dress code?
The published dress code is:
“In the Members Enclosure patrons are encouraged to be smartly dressed at all times.
Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket and tie.
Clean riding dress is allowed for competitors.
Jeans, shorts, denim, trainers and sports attire will not be permitted.
Children should also dress smartly, however children under 12 will be permitted to wear trainers should they wish to do so.”
Is the Dress Code enforced?

What facilities for food are available in the Members Enclosure?
There is a Members Restaurant which has 2 sittings at lunchtime. Reservations can be made in advance and a telephone number will be available shortly. There is a Members Cafe in the same area where sandwiches,  tea, coffee and cakes are also available.
Do Members have access to the Royal Box?
No
I want to watch the Tattoo in the evenings. How do I do that?
Full Members and their guests have the option to watch the Tattoo from the Members Lawn if they wish.
Alternatively, Full Members will be offered a 20% discount on up to 4 tickets for Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th May. Tickets for the Tattoo are on sale now and may be purchased by visiting www.windsortattoo.com or by telephoning 0871 230 5570. To benefit from the discount please quote ‘Members.
